Job summary

Norsk Hydro in Gainesville, GA is seeking a paint line operator for a permanent, full-time role on the production floor. You will support the paint line, ensure safety, and follow the production schedule.

You should have knowledge of paint line processes, be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, and communicate in English. A high school diploma is preferred, and you will join a team focused on quality and efficiency.

Starting Rate of pay:

$22.59/hour

What you will be doing

• Place Safety First.
• Leadership; ability to positively interact with team members in training, coaching, and mentoring. Be a positive role model.
• Lead by example.
• Adherence to paint schedule.
• Ensure proper material flow.
  o Proper hanging of material
  o Management of cure delays/oven temperatures
  o Hook and rod placement and cleaning
  o Clearing of washers
  o Data entry

Required Education/Experience:

• Knowledge of Paint Line Processes.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with fluency in English; Good verbal communications skills a plus.
• Team player; ability to work as a team.
