Job summary

The Learning Resource Network (LRN) Sr. Learning System Specialist at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is responsible for advanced data management and LMS administration for the CAPPS training module.

Serves as lead subject matter expert for the CAPPS LMS system, manages data and reporting, leads LRN training initiatives and projects, develops LMS policies, procedures, and training materials, and recommends training process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field; experience in learning management systems may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Two (2) years of experience as a front-end administrator for an LMS.
• Three (3) years of experience in 508-compliant training.
• Three (3) years of experience in advanced data analytics and generating reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead SME for CAPPS LMS functionality and CAPPS training module planning and implementation.
• Manage CAPPS testing, patches, updates, and upgrades for LRN.
• Create and administer training reports; analyze workforce data and advise agency teams.
• Provide CAPPS training for non-facility staff and coordinate with vendors and HHSC units.
• Test Moodle patches, upgrades, and system fixes and maintain developer guidelines.
