Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a Financial Operations Support Business Analyst to provide senior-level analysis, development, and support of CAPPS Financials and related systems within the Agency Finance area. This role focuses on improving financial technology solutions to meet business needs and ensure operational excellence in daily agency finance activities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college with relevant field
• Minimum four years of technical systems analysis experience
• At least two years of PeopleSoft experience
• Experience with CAPPS Financials baseline preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex financial and administrative data and system requirements
• Lead work sessions and manage project scope and schedules
• Develop test plans, training, and documentation
• Coordinate with outside vendors and assess policy impacts
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with state/federal rules
