Job summary

The Learning Resource Network (LRN) Sr. Learning System Specialist at Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Austin leads CAPPS LMS activities, manages data reporting, and drives training initiatives.

The role serves as front-line LMS administrator for HHS Learning Portal and works with multiple systems to ensure effective training delivery. Reporting to the LRN Learning and Development Director, the specialist develops policies, procedures, and training materials, provides tier 2/3

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field; experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Two years of experience as front-end LMS administrator.
• Three years of experience in 508-compliant training.
• Three years of experience in advanced data analytics and generating reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead SME for CAPPS LMS training module planning and implementation.
• Coordinate reporting needs and system requirements with stakeholders.
• Liaise with vendors and training units to resolve LMS issues.
• Develop LMS policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Manage CAPPS testing, patches, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Provide CAPPS training and coordinate with cross-agency teams.
