Job summary

Texas Family Care Network is seeking a Training Coordinator to support learning objectives and training plans for employees. You will develop and implement training activities aligned with state licensing, accreditation standards, and organizational initiatives.

The role emphasizes collaboration with SMEs, use of adult learning theories, and management of training content in the LMS, with responsibility for scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, social work, education, human resources, communication, business or related field.
• Requires a valid state driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Requires reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
• Requires one (1) year of experience as a trainer or educator.
• Experience training in a non-profit mental health organization or child welfare preferred.
• DPS, DFPS, FBI, CBCU Eligibility Determination, and Child Abuse Clearances.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with subject matter experts to develop courses, including researching, gathering, and analyzing content to clarify learning objectives.
• Utilizes tools to plan training content, ensuring organization branding and leadership approval.
• Facilitates small and large group training activities.
• Maintains knowledge of emerging instructional methods and technologies and integrates into training.
• Applies adult learning theories to create practical, nationally consistent training experiences.
• Develops and implements learning programs and deliverables (instructor-led, eLearning, blended) with various software considering audience and business needs.
• Maintains content in the organization’s LMS and supports training classes as SME.
• Ensures content meets contract, licensing, and accreditation standards.
• Schedules classes, tracks assessments, and uploads completions.
• Maintains training histories/transcripts and provides reports to ensure regulatory compliance.
