Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission in Austin, TX, seeks a Sr. Learning System Specialist to oversee CAPPS LMS functionality, data reporting, and training initiatives. You will serve as front-line administrator for HHS Learning Portal and provide Tier 2/3 support across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Relevant experience in learning management systems, training administration, data reporting, instructional technology, or closely related work may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• Two (2) years of experience as a front-end administrator for an LMS
• Three (3) years of experience in 508-compliant training
• Three (3) years of experience in advanced data analytics and generating reports

Responsibilities

• Lead SME for CAPPS LMS functionality and planning. Represents LRN as the business owner in CAPPS training module planning and implementation activities.
• Coordinate reporting needs and determine system requirements for training needs of HHS.
• Manage CAPPS testing, fiscal year-end changes, patches, updates, and upgrades, plus custom enhancements and bug fixes.
• Administer Moodle LMS, conduct training sessions, and maintain training materials and resources.
• Develop and implement LMS policies, procedures, and user guides for CAPPS and related systems.
• Lead training initiatives and projects, document requirements, and manage multiple training programs.
