Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Lead Specialist, Solutioning to act as the solution architect for instructor-led, virtual, cohort-based, and blended training programs across enterprise clients. You will partner with Sales, Client Partners, Product Management, Training Operations, Customer Success, and Delivery to design scalable learning solutions addressing workforce transformation and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, business, HR, learning & development, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in learning solutions, training services, enterprise education, consulting, solution architecture, or workforce development.
• Experience designing and positioning instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training solutions.
• Strong consultative selling and discovery skills
• Experience supporting enterprise customers and complex sales cycles
• Excellent written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business challenges into measurable learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary solutioning lead for live training opportunities across enterprise clients.
• Conduct discovery sessions to identify objectives, workforce challenges, learner audiences, and success metrics.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable live training solutions and learning journeys.
• Partner with Client Partners and Sales during qualification, proposals, and executive presentations.
• Demonstrate the value of live training within workforce transformation programs.
• Develop tailored recommendations balancing outcomes, feasibility, and commercial objectives.
• Maintain expert knowledge of Pearson's instructor-led training, virtual delivery, and related offerings.
• Act as a SME for live training products and learning pathways.
• Collaborate with Product Management to identify market opportunities and portfolio enhancements.
• Support development of repeatable solution bundles and go-to-market offerings.
• Contribute to sales enablement assets and client-facing collateral.
