Job summary

WHOOP is seeking an Assistant General Counsel, Litigation to oversee all litigation and regulatory matters for a fast-scaling consumer health company. You will report to the Chief Legal Officer and guide strategy across commercial disputes, IP, employment, and investigations by federal, state, and international bodies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of litigation experience in law firm or in-house setting.
• Experience handling commercial disputes, consumer actions, IP matters, and employment issues.
• Strong ability to translate legal risk into practical business guidance.
• Proven track record in managing outside counsel and litigation budgets.
• Experience advising executive leadership on strategic litigation decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Company’s litigation portfolio and strategic direction.
• Lead and manage outside counsel, budgets, staffing, and objectives.
• Develop litigation and settlement strategies for significant matters.
• Advise senior leadership on risk, exposure, and business implications.
• Manage discovery, e-discovery, and investigations as needed.
• Collaborate with Finance, People, and other functions on reserves and risk mitigation.
