Job summary

Point is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel, Litigation to lead the company’s litigation strategy across the HEI platform and other consumer finance products. This is the senior-most litigation role in the legal department, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel with direct access to the General Counsel.

You will own Point’s litigation portfolio end-to-end, manage outside counsel and budgets, respond to subpoenas and investigations, and coordinate with compliance and business

Qualifications

• J.D. and active bar membership in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of consumer finance litigation experience.
• Experience directing outside counsel and managing budgets.
• Experience with class action defense preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own Point’s litigation portfolio end-to-end, including budgets and case strategy.
• Respond to civil and regulatory subpoenas and investigations.
• Coordinate with compliance and business partners on regulatory expectations.
• Lead internal investigations and prepare witnesses.
• Track outcomes and report to senior management.
