Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Systems Engineering for Link 22 to drive requirements, design, and integration across ground and airborne ISR platforms. You will serve as the subject matter expert on Link 22, guiding architecture, configuration, and training for broad, interoperable applications.

The role involves hands-on system design, collaboration with teams, and travel as needed to support program phases. Strong emphasis on NATO standards and cross-domain integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology or related field; 9+ years experience (Software Engineer considered).
• Graduate Degree with 7+ years related experience; or 13 years’ experience in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Link 22 SME; design, configure, and train on Link 22 systems.
• Integrate Link 22 with airborne and maritime platforms for interoperability.
• Architect Link 22 data flows across multi-node networks and time slot management.
• Develop and maintain exportable Link 22 configurations for multiple programs.
• Design, test, and verify Link 22 hardware/software components; ensure compliance with MIL‑STD and STANAG specs.
• Plan and execute interoperability testing with multinational participants.
• Prepare presentations on Link 22 architecture and configuration for customers.
