Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Systems Engineering for Link 22 to support requirements, design, development, test, and integration of complex hardware/software systems on ISR and communication platforms.

You will act as a subject matter expert in Link 22, guiding architecture development, configuration, integration, and training across airborne and maritime applications. The role involves traveling as needed during program phases, integrating SNC/SPC components, and ensuring

Qualifications

Active US Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology and minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
Graduate Degree with minimum 7 years of related experience; 13 years if no degree.
Proven systems engineering requirements development, traceability, verification and validation.
Experience creating tactical datalink scenarios for software development and testing.
Hands-on experience integrating Link 22 for airborne or ground applications.
Knowledge of Link 22 network architecture and STANAG 5522 standards.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Link 22 subject matter expert with deep knowledge of Link 22 architecture and message standards.
Integrate and configure Link 22 within airborne weapon systems and maritime platforms.
Architect and design Link 22 data flows across multi-node networks.
Develop and maintain exportable Link 22 configurations for multiple programs and customers.
Integrate Link 22 hardware and software components including SNC and SPC.
Design physical architectures with Link 22 and other data links like Link 16.
Test wideband and narrowband links in support of Link 22 operations.
Translate CONOPS into system-level requirements with traceability.
Write subsystem specs and evaluate alternative solutions.
Review wiring diagrams to trace back to system requirements.
Develop Link 22 standards compliance and test procedures.
Plan interoperability testing in lab and multi-national events.
Prepare presentations on Link 22 architecture for non-technical stakeholders.
Develop and implement software and system test plans.
Create integration, test, and verification scenarios with Link 22 simulation tools.
Work in an agile engineering environment.
