Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman for overhead distribution construction and repair. You will work on energized and de-energized lines and may travel to out-of-state job sites as needed. You will report to the Foreman and operate safety-first practices.

The role requires five years of experience, a valid CDL, and readiness to work outside standard hours, including emergencies and overtime. Equipment operation includes bucket trucks and derricks.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of recent overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/carry 50 pounds; work extended hours including overtime.
• Work out-of-state assignments and outages.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew members in the absence of the Employee in Charge.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Perform live-line work using approved techniques.
