White Lodging is seeking a Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team in Austin, TX. This kitchen leadership role advances you toward Sous Chef responsibilities, guiding daily BOH operations and mentoring junior cooks in a fast-paced hotel.

You will oversee food preparation, ensure recipe standards, monitor food safety, and help maintain cost targets while collaborating with a team across a premium hotel portfolio.

Qualifications

• Senior line cook or lead cook seeking advancement toward culinary management.
• Experience mentoring kitchen staff and guiding BOH operations.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced, hotel kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a Sous Chef in training, overseeing BOH operations in the absence of the senior chef.
• Mentor and collaborate with line cooks, apprentices, and stewards in daily production.
• Follow F&B procedures, health department regulations, and food safety guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining food and labor cost standards to meet targets.
• Ensure ingredient freshness and consistency with recipe standards.
• Monitor guest feedback and influence food quality and service.
