You will ensure proper food handling, follow standardized recipes, and help manage food and labor costs while upholding quality standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to health and safety regulations, and actively contributing to guest satisfaction through consistent food quality and service.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional kitchen environments including proper handling of food and equipment.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes, portioning, and plating guidelines.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Mentor entry-level cooks and apprentices in daily prep and production.
• Follow F&B procedures, health dept. regulations and federal guidelines.
• Ensure proper food handling and storage at all times.
• Assist in maintaining food cost and labor cost standards.
• Check freshness of ingredients and ensure recipes and portions are followed.
• Monitor guest feedback scores through quality and service consistency.
• Foster cooperation and respect among coworkers and perform other duties as assigned.
