Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality, home to iconic Arizona Biltmore, seeks a professional cook to join our culinary team in Phoenix. The role focuses on sauté and grill work, following established recipes to ensure consistent quality for a high-end dining experience.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of cooking in a fast-paced kitchen, ideally with hotel or resort exposure, and experience in upscale dining. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an Apprenticeship or accredited Culinary School, preferred.
• At least three (3) years of cooking experience in a professional, fast-paced kitchen.
• Prior hotel / resort experience, preferred.
• Upscale / luxury dining experience, preferred.
• Maricopa County Food Handler Card.
• ServeSafe Food Handler Certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sauté dishes to order following the restaurant's recipes and plating guidelines.
• Prepare all food items according to standard recipes to ensure consistency.
• Maintain teamwork and assist colleagues as needed.
• Check and control proper storage of products, monitor age and quality.
• Keep refrigeration and storage areas clean and compliant with Health dept. regulations.
• Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items.
• Read and apply math skills to follow recipes.
