Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Junior Sous Chef at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix to assist in training kitchen staff and help deliver high-quality culinary experiences for guests. You will participate in menu execution, maintain consistency across outlets, and uphold rigorous food safety standards in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in a hotel/restaurant kitchen, a valid Maricopa County Food Handler Card, and a teamwork-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; accredited culinary school or apprenticeship preferred.
Minimum 3 years in a culinary department within a hotel, restaurant or club.
Maricopa County Food Handler Card required.

Responsibilities

Assist in training staff in production and execution of outlet needs, ensuring quality results.
Support preparation and quality checks of soups, stocks, sauces and other dishes under senior chefs guidance.
Contribute to daily culinary operations to maintain efficiency and kitchen performance.
Monitor ingredient inventories and assist in stock rotation to minimize waste.
Maintain knowledge of all menus/recipes and ensure consistency in preparation.
Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards and proper record keeping.
