Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking a kitchen team member responsible for preparing foods listed on the menus across grilling, frying, baking, and more. You will ensure each plate meets the chef's specifications and maintain a clean workstation.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, culinary training or apprenticeship, and the ability to work flexible shifts including holidays and weekends. Licenses and background checks are required per regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; culinary apprenticeship or equivalent preferred.
• Associate’s Degree in Culinary or diploma with industry experience preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain licenses/certifications per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods listed on menus across grilling, frying, baking, boiling, braising, poaching.
• Ensure plates are aesthetically appealing and cooked to customer and chef specifications.
• Maintain a neat, clean workstation and assist teammates for efficient kitchen operation.
• Support special events/parties when required and assist with other duties as assigned.
