Qualifications

• Some industry experience preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods to menu specifications across grilling, frying, broiling, baking, boiling, braising, poaching or pantry work.
• Ensure plates/pans are aesthetically appealing and cooked to customer/chef specifications.
• Keep workstation neat and clean.
• Assist co-workers to ensure efficient kitchen operation.
• May perform duties for special events/parties.
• Ensure cleanliness of working area; report safety hazards and equipment failures.
• Properly store foods, including leftovers from functions.
• Ensure items are fully stocked and equipment is in good working condition.
