Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting teammates, supporting special events, and ensuring proper storage and safety practices. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with culinary training or apprenticeship preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required or preferred.
• Culinary apprenticeship or associate degree is preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods listed on menus for grilling, frying, broiling, baking, boiling, braising, poaching.
• Ensure plates are visually appealing and cooked to customer and chef specifications.
• Keep workstation clean and organized; report safety hazards and equipment failures.
• Assist coworkers to ensure smooth kitchen operation and support during events.
• Close down workstations and restock ingredients as needed.
