Job summary

Carver County seeks a Senior Licensing Specialist to lead the License Center staff, coordinate daily operations, and resolve complex customer inquiries. The role involves processing motor vehicle titles, registrations, DNR transactions, licenses, and passports while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Under the License Center Supervisor, you will mentor staff, schedule work, and act as the in-charge in the Supervisor's absence. A strong background in DMV settings is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years paid work experience in an administrative, DMV setting or related customer service role.
• Must be able to prove US Citizenship.
• Must pass a BCA background check (Driver's license staff only).
• Must hold Motor Vehicle Title Certification and Passport training current.
• Valid driver's license or equivalent mobility.

Responsibilities

• Lead Worker duties supporting the License Center Supervisor and Manager.
• Manage office activities, staff scheduling and training.
• Provide high-volume face-to-face customer service support and resolve complex inquiries.
• Process license applications, titles, passports, and DNR transactions.
• Maintain communication with federal, state, and county agencies; ensure compliance.
