Job summary

FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation seeks an experienced Leave of Absence Manager to oversee enterprise-wide LOA and reasonable accommodations. You will design scalable processes, manage internal and vendor teams, ensure FMLA/ADA compliance, and provide data-driven guidance to HR and leadership.

Role requires a deep understanding of federal/state leave laws, strong communication, and cross-functional collaboration with payroll, benefits, and legal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business, or related fields.
• 10 years of experience with 7+ years in HR operations, benefits, or leave administration.
• Deep expertise in federal and state disability and leave laws (FMLA, ADA, PWFA, etc.).
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and training management abilities.
• Proficiency with HR platforms (e.g., Workday) and case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable leave processes and compliance controls.
• Oversee internal leave analysts and third-party administrators.
• Manage end-to-end leave processes including medical, family, military, and personal leaves.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, PWFA and related laws.
• Act as SME for complex regulatory matters and reasonable accommodations.
• Review and update leave policies reflecting legal changes.
• Audit leave and accommodation programs and drive improvements.
• Develop and deliver enterprise training on leave policies.
• Collaborate with payroll, benefits, and legal teams for seamless processing.
• Communicate with managers on pending leaves, returns, and extensions.
• Utilize HR reporting/analytics to monitor trends and advise leadership.
• Manage relationships with leave, disability, workers' comp, and accommodation vendors.
• Ensure organizational compliance with multiple leave laws and regulations.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to reduce costs and improve program effectiveness.
• Partner with ER, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, Safety, and HRIS teams on complex issues.
