Inalfa Roof Systems Group in Cherokee Assembly is seeking an Industrial Engineer to advance lean manufacturing and continuous improvement across product and manufacturing engineering. You will plan, direct, and optimize labor standards, takt times, and facility layouts to support current and future production needs.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical field and at least five years in tier-one automotive lean/manufacturing.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• Minimum of five years in tier-one automotive Lean manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• Experience developing labor standards, takt times, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Proven ability to work across functions and with customers.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and direct Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities.
• Conduct time studies to keep labor standards accurate.
• Develop work elements and takt times for all processes.
• Identify cost savings through labor reduction or process improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date drawings for manufacturing facilities and develop facility layouts.
• Train production associates and quality engineers on new processes and controls.
• Ensure manufacturability through DFM/DFA analyses and cross-functional Feasibility studies.
