Job summary
Inalfa Roof Systems seeks a control engineer to advance electrical and automation for our USA manufacturing lines at the Cherokee Assembly location. You will design and implement electrical and control systems for automated equipment, support HMI features, and ensure reliable operation of car roof production processes.
The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical/Automation Engineering with 5–10 years of hands-on automation experience, and expert knowledge of RSLogix 5000, LabVIEW, and AutoCAD.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering or related field.
- 5–10 years hands-on automation experience in manufacturing or automotive.
- Strong PLC programming, electrical schematics, and system integration skills.
- Familiarity with RSLogix 5000, LabVIEW and AutoCAD preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support specifying HMI/software features and manufacturing equipment.
- Design electrical/control-wiring schematics on CAD systems.
- Design ladder logic and relay logic PLC programming (RSLogix5000).
- Develop BOM and component selection for automation projects.
- Test, start-up, debugging and trouble shooting of systems.
- Kaizen-driven improvements to reduce waste and improve OEE.
- Coordinate with maintenance and MIS for hardware and software support.
