Job summary

You will plan labor standards, takt times, and facility layouts while providing technical guidance across manufacturing operations. The role requires five years in tier-one automotive Lean/IE, proficiency in CAD, and strong communication skills to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Minimum of five years in tier one automotive overseeing lean manufacturing or industrial engineering activities.
• Experience with Kaizen/Lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Conduct time studies to keep labor standards current.
• Develop work elements and takt times for all processes.
• Identify cost savings through labor reduction and process improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date drawings for manufacturing facilities.
• Plan and develop facility layouts for expansion.
• Support equipment planning considering automation, ergonomics and balance.
• Train production teams on new processes and controls.
