Job summary
Inalfa Roof Systems Group in Cherokee Assembly is seeking a Quality Engineer II to uphold product quality across new and existing automotive roof programs. You will review control plans, diagnose defects, and drive corrective actions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires a bachelor degree, 2–5 years in automotive quality, supervisory experience, and familiarity with IATF16949; you'll lead audits and support customers while promoting safety and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 year Bachelor Degree.
2-5 years experience in automotive quality.
2 years minimum inspection layout experience.
2-5 years of supervisory experience.
ASQC Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
Reviews production lines to assure proper use of control plans and process sheet.
Diagnose defective material and identify need for corrective action.
Provide customer support on existing programs and new programs.
Maintain IATF16949 status and related requirements.
Track and manage measures assigned in the plant.
Promote safe work practices and participate in teams.
