Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence within Centers of Excellence. Embedded in production areas, you will partner with COE leaders to improve stability, flow, and execution against SQDC objectives tied to target conditions.

You will build sustainable systems, coach leaders, and lead Lean improvements with a focus on sustaining gains through standard work and daily management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 5 years experience in Lean/Continuous Improvement or Manufacturing Engineering
• High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 10 years experience in manufacturing leadership or continuous improvement roles

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Lean partner for assigned COEs, supporting roadmap execution, stability and target conditions.
• Coach leaders and teams in structured problem solving (4D, 8D, A3) with clear ownership of countermeasures and results.
• Apply Lean tools to improve flow, lead time, and daily execution; implement and sustain 5S and visual management.
• Develop continuous improvement capability in supervisors, engineers, and operators.
• Lead Lean improvements aligned to COE priorities with sustainable gains.
