Job summary

East-West Center in Honolulu seeks a Senior Leadership Development Specialist to design, coordinate, facilitate, and implement cohort-based leadership programs. You will collaborate with operations staff, stakeholders, and guest experts to deliver regionally relevant curricula and engaging participant experiences.

The role emphasizes leadership theory, experiential learning, and cross-cultural collaboration, with opportunities for monitoring, evaluation, and program advancement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and at least four (4) years of program facilitation or teaching experience in leadership or professional development in U.S. or Asia‑Pacific contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver leadership development programs, including immersive or cross‑cultural settings.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills for diverse participants.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and delivers cohort-based leadership curricula and learning experiences aligned with organizational objectives.
• Facilitates workshops, discussions, and experiential activities, guiding participants and applying reflective learning.
• Coordinates with program operations, partners, and guest experts to implement programs and study tours.
• Develops evaluation processes to assess participant experience and program effectiveness; incorporates feedback for continuous improvement.
• Supports proposal development, reporting, and communications related to program activities.
• Contributes to institutional initiatives and collaborates with alumni and stakeholders.
