Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Execution Lead to drive vulnerability management efforts for the NMCI program in the Norfolk area. You will lead a large technical team, coordinate mobile field teams, and travel to customer-prioritized locations to replace EOL/EOS hardware at scale.

The role requires DoD-level leadership, security clearances, and strong communication with senior Government officials. You will ensure timely remediation and alignment with enterprise network architecture.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret security clearance with upgrade ability to TS.
• DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification required on boarding.
• Experience leading large-matrix organizations.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Experience preparing and presenting briefings to senior management.
• Knowledge of defense-in-depth and security architectures.
• Ability to work with senior customer management.
• Technical leadership in network/hardware/software security.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT remediation and refresh projects across locations.
• Direct interface with senior Government officials.
• Communicate critical program information to NMCI leadership.
• Develop risk mitigations with customer and Leidos peers.
• Manage vulnerability management staff and activities.
• Own 12-week planning horizon and 4-week firm window.
• Identify critical-path elements and ensure feasible sequences.
• Ensure alignment with NEN future-state architecture.
• Supervise 10–15 direct reports including suppliers.
• Ensure time charging discipline in Deltek and SLICS.
