Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Execution Lead for the SMIT vulnerability management program supporting the NMCI backbone. You will oversee remediation and refresh projects, manage field teams, and coordinate with NMCI leadership to ensure timely delivery and risk mitigation.

The role requires DoD security clearance, IAT II certification, and a strong track record in leading complex IT programs within a government environment.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification required prior to onboarding (examples: CompTIA Security+ CE, CDN, ISC2 SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CYSA+)
• BA/BS with 8+ years of relevant experience or MS/MBA with 6+ years of relevant experience
• Prior leadership responsibilities in a large-matrixed organisation
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experienced at developing and maintaining technical documents, analyses, and reports
• Experienced with presenting briefings to senior customer management and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead complex IT remediation and refresh projects across locations
• Direct interface with senior Government officials
• Communicate program-related information to NMCI leadership
• Build relationships to develop risk mitigations and issue resolutions
• Manage day-to-day vulnerability management staff (Crew Leads and FBNE)
• Own rolling 12-week planning horizon and 4-week firm window
• Ensure remediation tasks are completed timely and report to customer and leadership
• Oversee subcontract relationships and time charging with Deltek and SLICS
