Job summary

OWN, Inc. seeks a Survey Team Leader to guide a skilled surveying group, strengthen client relationships, and deliver projects that positively impact Missouri communities.

You will mentor teammates, manage projects from kickoff to completion, ensure safety, quality, and budget targets, and collaborate with leadership to drive growth and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred.
• 10+ years of land surveying experience, incl. project and team management.
• Strong knowledge of surveying practices, equipment, and software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, GPS).
• Experience in client relationship management, business development, and project financial oversight.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop survey team members, fostering collaboration and growth.
• Oversee surveying projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring quality, safety, schedules, and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance, manage workloads, and ensure compliance with surveying standards and QC procedures.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for new projects and growth.
• Collaborate with leadership to manage project performance, resources, and continuous improvement.
