OWN, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician or Crew Chief to lead field operations and work with licensed surveyors to deliver accurate survey data for our Missouri projects.

You will operate GPS, robotic total stations, drones, and scanners, guiding field crews and coordinating daily activities to keep projects moving safely and efficiently. You’ll interpret plans and legal descriptions, plan field work, and ensure quality standards while collaborating with project managers and office staff to

Formación

• 1+ years in land surveying or related field.
• Experience with GPS and robotic total stations preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D, Carlson Survey, or similar software.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
• Ability to perform physically demanding fieldwork.

Responsabilidades

• Lead survey crews in field operations for boundary, topographic, construction, and as-built surveys.
• Operate GPS, robotic total stations, drones and scanners to collect data.
• Interpret plans and legal descriptions to plan fieldwork and ensure quality.
• Train and guide field crew, coordinating schedules and equipment.
• Collaborate with surveyors, project managers, and office teams to deliver accurate results.
