Job summary

MSD in West Point, PA is seeking a Manager, Clinical Services to lead Laboratory Animal Resources. You will supervise up to 15 animal care personnel, train staff, ensure compliance with SOPs, and coordinate animal purchases with veterinarians in a regulated research setting.

As a federal contractor, the role requires strong leadership, meticulous records management, and collaboration with research teams. BS is required; MS preferred; ALAT/AAALAS certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• BS in Biology or related in vivo field required.
• MS in Biology or related in vivo field preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in a Research in vivo field required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees up to 15 animal care personnel in providing laboratory animal care and husbandry.
• Develops and implements SOPs for daily activities and records management.
• Manages equipment and supplies, including routine maintenance and validation tests.
• Coordinates animal purchases with area veterinarians and ensures adequate housing and staffing.
