Job summary

MSD in West Point, PA seeks a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform comprehensive blood analysis, urinalysis, and chemistry assays for nonclinical studies. You will operate and troubleshoot core lab instruments, document data, and ensure compliance with GLPs and SOPs.

Ideal candidates hold ASCP certification with at least 1 year of clinical lab experience and demonstrate strong communication, attention to detail, and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ASCP-certified Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist with 1+ year clinical lab experience.
• Experience with hematology, clinical chemistry, coagulation and urinalysis instrumentation.
• Attentive to detail and focused on compliance/quality; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform biochemistry, hematology, coagulation, and urinalysis testing of nonclinical and investigative study samples.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
• Record, evaluate, and assess data; follow SOPs and GLPs.
• Learn new software applications and LIS; interact with team members.
