Job summary

You will lead personnel, manage daily operations under the PWS, and ensure high-quality animal care and research support. The role requires coordinating with government representatives, maintaining compliance with the Animal Welfare Act and AAALAC standards, and guiding staffing, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience supervising personnel in laboratory animal care or research operations.
• Knowledge of animal welfare regulations and compliance requirements.
• PM or PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise animal care and veterinary staff and technicians.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Oversee contract operations per the PWS and contractual requirements.
• Monitor performance metrics and operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with the Animal Welfare Act and AAALAC standards.
• Collaborate with government representatives and research personnel.
