Job summary

ASRC Federal Field Services seeks a Lab 101 Manager for the Plum Island Animal Disease Research Center, Plum Island, NY. The role oversees 24/7 operations, maintenance teams, and building systems to ensure safe, compliant laboratory operations.

Responsibilities include scheduling, upgrades, regulatory coordination, and cost control, with emphasis on biohazard procedures and inspection readiness. The ideal candidate has strong leadership and maintenance management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7–9 years of relevant maintenance management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage 24/7 O&M for the decommissioning laboratory facility.
• Schedule daily maintenance activities and preventive tasks.
• Direct facility upgrades and equipment movements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and biohazard laboratory procedures.
• Oversee budgeting and personnel planning.
• Monitor CMMS and Building Management Systems.
• Coordinate with inspectors and Government PMs.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance.
