Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Demonstrated experience as a Lab Assistant within a healthcare system.
• Preferred: experience teaching concepts to others and customer service.
• Preferred: demonstrated experience as a Lab Assistant within Intermountain Health.

Responsibilities

• Head special projects including research, improvement, and evaluations.
• Order, prepare, and deliver specimens to testing facilities.
• Provide clerical, admin, and customer service support.
• Train and orient new caregivers.
• Monitor and maintain supply inventory.
• Perform waived testing and venipuncture/collection.
• Communicate procedures to patients and families with empathy.
