Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Demonstrated prior experience in clinical or pathology lab assistant role.
• Experience teaching Laboratory testing concepts to others.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived and moderately complex diagnostic testing across Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Microbiology, and Molecular Diagnostics.
• Maintain instrument maintenance, quality control, and troubleshoot results.
• Provide clerical, administrative, and customer service support to the department.
• Train and orient new caregivers.
• Assist in schedule management and shift coverage.
• Lead process improvement initiatives in the laboratory.
