Job summary

ZWILLING J.A. Henckels LLC in New York is seeking a Lead Keyholder to join our retail sales team.

You will lead shifts, oversee POS, and partner with the Store Manager on daily operations and sales strategies, while mentoring team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences. The candidate should have a culinary passion, 2–3 years of retail sales or keyholder experience, and a strong commitment to service.

Qualifications

• Passion for culinary products and customer service
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to work 30+ hours per week, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Strong commitment to customer service
• 2–3 years of retail sales or keyholder experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional attitude with flexibility and adaptability
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift 35+ lbs. and use ladders as needed
• Must be 18 years or older; must be eligible to work in the United States; no sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team during shifts, including opening/closing, POS oversight, and shift-change meetings
• Partner with the Store Manager on daily operations, sales strategies, and community engagement
• Deliver exceptional customer service, execute product demos, and support special events
• Assist with supervising store operations, policy compliance, and inventory replenishment and prep
• Build strong customer and internal relationships while mentoring Sales Associates and Keyholders
• Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and development efforts
• Contribute to store communications, including team updates and store meetings
