Job summary

Entergy Mississippi, LLC is seeking skilled linemen in Cleveland, MS to construct, maintain and repair overhead and underground electric facilities up to 34.5 kV. Responsibilities include transformer wiring, regulator wiring, and operating bucket/digger-derrick trucks.

Candidates must have 5 years of lineman experience and a Class A CDL or ability to obtain one, with the capacity to work irregular hours and travel as required. Safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of lineman experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL.
• Ability to work irregular hours and out-of-town assignments.
• Ability to take directives and complete tasks with limited supervision.
• Ability to plan and lay out work safely and efficiently.
• Lead role and direct other linemen.

Responsibilities

• Construct, build and maintain OH/UG electric facilities up to 34.5kV.
• Install/maintain transformers and wiring of banks.
• Install and wire regulators, capacitors, reclosers.
• Operate trucks and equipment including bucket and digger derrick trucks.
• Read job prints and sketches; understand materials and their functions.
