Job summary

Entergy Mississippi, LLC is seeking an experienced Lineworker in Gloster, MS to build, maintain and repair overhead and underground electric facilities up to 34.5 kV. You will climb poles, operate bucket trucks, install transformers, regulators and reclosers, and respond to outages with readiness for extended hours.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, 5 years lineman experience, ability to work irregular hours and travel up to 25%, and a commitment to safety and teamwork in a high-demand

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• 5 years of lineman experience required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Strong safety mindset and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Construct, Build and Maintain OH/UG Electric Facilities with voltages up to 34.5KV.
• Install, remove and maintain OH/UG primary line facilities and secondary services.
• Install OH/UG transformers and wiring of transformer banks.
• Install wiring for regulators, capacitors, and reclosers.
• Drive different truck sizes and operate equipment including bucket and digger derrick trucks.
• Read and understand job prints and sketches; recognize materials and their function.
• Set and climb poles; be available for on-call duty and emergency response.
