Job summary

Entergy Mississippi, LLC is seeking skilled linemen to construct, build, and maintain OH/UG electric facilities up to 34.5 kV. You will install transformers, regulators, capacitors, and reclosers, and operate heavy trucks and equipment safely.

Candidates must hold a Class A CDL or be eligible to obtain one, work long hours including overtime, and perform duties with strong safety and teamwork, in varied weather and field conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL.
• Ability to climb and work on poles at various heights.
• Capable of working in extreme weather and overtime.
• Must communicate effectively and work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Construct, build and maintain OH/UG electric facilities up to 34.5 kV.
• Install and wire transformers, regulators, capacitors, and reclosers.
• Operate trucks and heavy equipment safely.
• Attend on-call duty and emergency response.
• Read job prints and sketches; recognize materials.
