Amteck is seeking a Journeyman Electrician 1 to work under a Foreman or Superintendent, potentially supervising a small crew. The role covers installation, alteration and repair of electrical systems, with growth opportunities across divisions such as low voltage and fire alarm.

Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, bending and installing conduit, terminating devices and reading blueprints. Candidates must mentor juniors and be available for weekends and overtime as needed.

Competenze

• 5-7 years of experience in electrical construction (commercial/industrial).
• Ability to read and understand project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime.
• Demonstrates safety and teamwork in daily work.
• Must be able to learn and adapt to multiple divisions within Amteck.

Mansioni

• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels and feeders.
• Demonstrate knowledge of circuits and project drawings.
• Read project specs, blueprints and schematics.
• Lay out work from drawings, including underground layout.
• Determine wire, conduit and junction box sizing.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits.
• Lead and mentor Helpers and Apprentices on site.
