Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Lead Job Developer/Case Manager to coordinate and monitor our Veterans Housing and Reintegration program. You will mentor Job Developers, assess client needs, develop individualized employment plans, and build employer partnerships to source job openings and training opportunities.

On-site position requiring strong administrative and field outreach skills, crisis intervention, and experience in employment services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience in employment placement and vocational counseling activities.
• Ability to pass fingerprint clearance and background checks.
• Experience in employment placement and working with veterans is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign and monitor case load of Job Development teams and train staff on employment of re-entry clients.
• Assess and develop Individual Employment Plans and Service Plans for participants.
• Coordinate with employers, public agencies, and community resources to source job openings and vocational training.
• Conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments to collect needed data for eligibility and service planning.
• Develop relationships with local employers and maintain a resource base for priority hiring.
• Ensures on-site program delivery and participates in outreach events and workshops.
