Job summary

Didlake, Inc. is seeking a proactive Janitorial Supervisor to oversee daily custodial operations and lead a team including individuals with disabilities. You will ensure high-quality cleaning, safety, and staff development while maintaining a positive work environment.

You will plan and direct daily activities, train staff on procedures and safety, and coordinate inspections to meet standards. This role emphasizes leadership, communication, and compliance with Didlake policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years custodial services experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment, custodial tools, chemicals, and cleaning products.
• Knowledge of contracts, budgets, safety and health regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate daily janitorial activities to meet operational goals and quality standards.
• Inspect completed work to ensure cleanliness and compliance with established standards.
• Monitor equipment condition, identify maintenance needs, and report issues to the Project Manager.
• Identify supply and equipment needs and submit requests for approval.
• Train employees on cleaning procedures, equipment operation, and workplace safety.
• Provide leadership and guidance to employees while promoting teamwork and professional development.
• Identify training needs and coordinate staff development opportunities.
• Participate in employee interviews and provide hiring recommendations.
• Address attendance concerns, review leave requests, and provide employee feedback.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss assignments, priorities, and inspection results.
• Work with Employment Services to support employee program plans and appropriate accommodations.
• Resolve workplace concerns and elevate issues to management when necessary.
• Maintain required documentation and complete all Didlake training.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
