Job summary

HDR is seeking a seasoned Integrated Watershed Management Business Class Director to lead technical capabilities across HDR's IWM practice. You will build relationships with market sectors, guide risk management, and steward quality standards across projects while mentoring technical leaders and coordinating with operations and marketing.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 10 years of leadership in professional services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
Professional or Architecture/Engineering registration and related technical experience.
Experienced in development and management of diverse teams.

Responsibilities

Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
Build relationships and coordinate with related business classes, market sectors, business groups and operations.
Lead technical risk management through process and resource reviews and provide advisory services on projects.
Oversee development and application of technical tools, standards, and techniques to enhance service quality.
Mentor technical leaders to help manage and execute the mission of the business class.
Support client development, proposal development, and participation in professional organizations.
