Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Director for Integrated Watershed Management. You will lead HDR’s service lines in watershed management, water supply, groundwater and water quality, coordinating with market sectors, groups and operations.

You’ll drive risk management, client management, and strategic planning while mentoring technical leaders and guiding project delivery. You will participate in business development and technical differentiation, with travel up to about 35% and a focus on HDR’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
• For Business Class leadership roles the core service must be technical design and requires professional or Architecture/Engineering registration.
• Experience developing and managing diverse teams.
• Works cooperatively with other business class directors, operations managers and marketing managers on business class efforts.
• Committed to quality, HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build relationships across related business classes, market sectors, and operations.
• Lead technical risk management through reviews and advisory services.
• Oversee development and application of standards, tools and techniques.
• Support proposal and project development and mentor technical leaders.
• Monitor performance and ensure delivery in line with goals.
