Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Director (IWM) to lead and coordinate HDR’s Integrated Watershed Management practice. You will direct technical capabilities, build cross-functional relationships, and drive risk management for large multi-discipline projects.

The role requires leading diverse teams, aligning with market sectors, and mentoring technical leaders while upholding HDR’s employee-owned culture and quality standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
Professional or Architecture/Engineering registration for technical leadership roles.

Responsibilities

Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
Build relationships with related business classes, market sectors and operations.
Lead technical risk management through process and resource reviews and advisory services.
Oversee development and application of technical tools, standards, and techniques.
Develop strategic plan for the business class with market sector directors.
Mentor technical leaders and ensure HDR values and quality standards.
Monitor performance and support operational managers with improvements.
