Job summary

Quanta Services, Inc. seeks a Senior ITSM/ITAM Platform Engineer to lead the reboot and ongoing administration of our enterprise ITSM/ITAM framework, primarily on ServiceNow.

You will set data models, workflows, and integrations, while guiding third-party partners and maintaining a durable, well-governed service. You will own the platform end-to-end, ensuring ITIL-aligned processes, a robust CMDB, and scalable service catalog driven by business needs.

Qualifications

• ITIL certification required; ITIL v4 Foundation or higher.
• 6+ years hands-on with an enterprise ITSM platform, with significant ServiceNow depth (ITSM & ITAM/CMDB).
• Led implementation or major rebuild of an ITSM platform from requirements through go-live.
• Strong admin and development skills: workflows, catalog/config, scripting, ACLs, integrations, upgrades.
• Service catalog design and ITAM/CMDB experience; accurate asset/config data.
• Experience directing third-party delivery partners to architectural standards and quality.
• Platform-agnostic ITSM fundamentals to evaluate alternatives (e.g., Ivanti Neurons, Freshworks).
• Excellent communication with IT leadership, partners, and stakeholders.
• Structured problem solving; turning complex requirements into maintainable patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead initial development of the rebooted ITSM/ITAM environment (ServiceNow).
• Administer platform post go-live: admin, releases, upgrades, security, integrations.
• Build and maintain a complete service catalog and ITAM foundations (CMDB, lifecycle data).
• Design integrations with identity, endpoints, HR, finance, and OSS systems; drive automation.
• Direct third-party consultants and ensure governance, architecture, and quality.
• Collaborate with Enterprise IT and stakeholders to set direction and patterns.
