Qualifications

• Four years of experience in information technology; OR six years of full-time work experience in any field plus two years of IT experience; OR an associate's degree in information technology plus two years of IT experience; OR a bachelor’s degree plus two years of IT experience; OR a bachelor’s degree with 24 semester hours in IT/CS/engineering/math/business analytics plus one year of IT experience; OR a master’s degree plus one year of IT experience.
• EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards six years of IT experience; max substitution is 120 semester hours (4 years).
• NOTE: A certification in an approved area may be substituted for education/experience at hire/promotion, if appointed from a Certificate of Eligibles.

Responsibilities

• Provides highly complex technical support for statewide enterprise consumer communications technologies including production print and mail systems; acts as a technical lead for complex tasks.
• Provides highly complex hardware and software technical support for statewide print, mail, and data systems and guides lower-level technicians.
• Develops and documents standardized procedures; produces highly complex reports for production print and mail functions.
• Develops training materials and conducts training of lower-level staff on production print and mail services.
