Job summary

State of Louisiana’s Division of Administration/Office of Technology Services seeks an IT Statewide Systems Technician within End User Computing to deliver end user support, manage devices and peripherals, and collaborate on statewide deployments.

The incumbent will travel within the region, assist with incident response, and help maintain and improve service in a highly secure environment. Experience in IT support and device management is required.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in information technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with two years of IT experience, or higher degrees with relevant experience.
• Experience with managing user accounts, password resets, and asset tracking.

Responsibilities

• Provide end user support and handle service requests through the ticketing system.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot desktop and end user devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Lead or assist in deployment projects and travel to regional offices as needed.
• Maintain documentation, user messaging, and training materials.
• Coordinate with IT teams and vendors to resolve complex issues.
